Pure Talents Contest 2019
Design competition of the imm cologne and LivingKitchen starts

After the 2018 anniversary event, which marked an international record attendance with 671 designers from 53 countries on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the competition, the Pure Talents Contest is now entering the next round for young designers.
Design students and young graduates will be able to re-submit their designs for interior design products by 14 September. As in previous years, the 20 best entries will be selected by an internationally recognized jury from all submissions. The nominees will have the opportunity to present their prototypes at a special exhibition organized by Koelnmesse during the imm cologne from 14 to 20 January 2019. On the day before the fair starts, the jury also awards three nominees to three winners, who will be announced on January 14 at the award presentation in the lecture forum "The Stage". With the award, the winners will receive prize money totaling 6,000 euros.
In addition, the LivingKitchen Selection will curate its own exhibition for kitchen products for LivingKitchen in parallel to the imm cologne in 2019 and award an additional prize. The organizers hope for innovative concepts for compact kitchens in urban areas, but also ideas for e-devices and kitchen accessories.
Organized by Koelnmesse, the Pure Talents Contest is considered one of the most internationally renowned design competitions for young designers. The goal is the promotion of young designers in the furnishing sector. Only designers or design groups who are still studying or who graduated not more than three years ago may take part. Participation in the competition as well as the special exhibition is free of charge for the designers.
