Board strengthened

The wood-based materials manufacturer Pfleiderer has strengthened its board. As the company informs, Dr. Ing. Frank Herrmann will join Pfleiderer as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from May 1, 2019, in order to "support the accelerated growth and implementation of the strategy to achieve the 2021 corporate goals".

Stefan Zinn, who has been Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) since the beginning of the year, was also appointed to the Executive Board with effect from 1 May 2019. Dirk Hardow, currently COO of Pfleiderer, decided for personal reasons to leave the company on 31 March 2019 in order to tackle new challenges.

Herrmann was most recently COO of Madrid-based URSA Insulation S.A., a leading European insulation services company. Zinn has held management positions in the Pfleiderer Group since 2013.
