"All international industry players networked"
The ISH - World's Leading Trade Fair for Water, Heat and Climate - once again proves its importance to visitors and exhibitors from Germany and abroad: From 11 to 15 March 2019, around 190,000 visitors (2017: 198,810) came from 161 countries (2017: 153) to the Frankfurt Exhibition Center to find out about innovations and trends.
For five days, a total of 2,532 exhibitors (Germany: 868 - foreign countries: 1,664) from 57 countries presented their new products in Frankfurt am Main. At the same time, ISH expanded its relevance through increased internationality: 66% (2017: 64%) exhibitors and almost 48% (2017: 40%) visitors came from abroad.
"The ISH has once again proven that it connects all international industry players. Only together can the politically set climate protection goals be achieved - of course in the personal discourse here at the ISH. The change in daily schedule to Monday to Friday also contributed to this, "explains Wolfgang Marzin, CEO of Messe Frankfurt.
Most visitors came from China, Italy, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Poland, Belgium, Austria and the Czech Republic. Industry and crafts represented the largest groups of visitors. In addition, the market research figures (97%) confirm visitor satisfaction with the offer shown.
The next ISH will take place from 22 to 26 March 2021 in Frankfurt am Main.
