The new solid wood program "Hülsta solid" of the branded furniture Hülsta has now received Germany's best-known and world's first eco-label, the Blue Angel. At the trade fair stand at the imm cologne, the certificate for the solid oak collection was officially handed over.

"Hülsta has been meeting the requirements of the Blue Angel environmental label for more than 20 years and combines the high demands associated with maintaining the eco-label with every new product development. That is exemplary and important, "says Henning Scholtz, Head of the Environmental Label Division of RAL gGmbH, awarding body of the Blue Angel. Hülsta was the first furniture company in 1996 to designate the entire box furniture range including the spring wood frame with the Blue Angel.

For the Hülsta marketing director Birte Farin, the new award reflects the company philosophy of the furniture manufacturer: "Lifestyle and home aesthetics should not be at the expense of the environment. Our guiding principle "We live quality" is therefore also a promise that Hülsta furniture meets high standards in terms of environmental and consumer protection."
