With the groundbreaking ceremony, Häcker Küchen has now launched the "largest investment project in its history". The manufacturer is building another plant for the production of kitchen furniture in Ostercappeln-Venne in Osnabrücker Land in the immediate vicinity of the headquarters in Rödinghausen, a city in North Rhine Westphalia.

Häcker Kitchens claims to realize a trend-setting production and logistics concept on 215,000 square meters of premises in order to be able to adequately realize the planned sales increases in the next few years. "The new building in Ostercappeln-Venne gives us the opportunity to set up state-of-the-art production processes based on digitized processes. A high level of automation will set standards in terms of process quality and productivity, "says Dirk Krupka, Technical Director at Häcker Kitchens. "We will be able to safeguard and expand our competitiveness in the long term. Around 450 future-proof jobs will be created, which we are already occupying. Among other things, we are looking for employees for the production and internal logistics processes, machine operators, motorists and dispatch staff. Commissioning of the new plant is scheduled for autumn 2020."

More than half of all suppliers of the East Westphalian kitchen furniture manufacturer are within less than 50 kilometers. The new location thus ensures perfect integration of existing supply structures while at the same time creating the necessary logistical prerequisites such as storage capacity and material flow in order to be able to ensure future growth from the supply side as well. "One of Häcker Küchen 'main strategies is' Made in Germany' and will continue to secure jobs here in the region," says Jochen Finkemeier, Managing Partner at Häcker Kitchens.
