Weak August

As the Association of the German upholstered furniture industry announced, the turnover of the German upholstered furniture industry in August 2018 with 55,07 million euros compared to the same month last year a minus of -3.68%. In total, from January to August 2018, there was a minus of -5.71% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Domestic sales in August were a small plus of 1.07% compared to the same month last year. Abroad, sales fell by -9.83% and in the eurozone by 22.05%.
