The German furniture export initiative Furniture-Club has recently elected a new board of directors at its general meeting: The chairman of the board remains Mark Niemann. Deputy Chairmen were Johannes Hegger, Hotel Interior Group, and Jan Bobe, Hästens.
In addition, in early 2019, there will be a separate in-house exhibition in Johannesburg, which will take into account the specific distribution structures in South Africa and be supported by local partners of some member companies. In addition, the Furniture Club will focus on India and organize a market exploration trip to Greater Mumbai. Initial contacts already exist on site and affirm the high reputation of "Made in Germany" as well as the need for furnishings for the medium and high-quality market segment.
"It's amazing what you can do in the association of member companies. The exchange of experiences and contacts with each other works very trusting, and synergies are used in projects that could not be addressed as a single company, "said Niemann.
