New models from Milan on the catwalk

On the occasion of the centenary of the Bauhaus: With its innovations, Walter Knoll bows to the modern age and its masters.

In addition to the omnipresent Bauhaus and the diverse homage to Leonardo da Vinci, this year's Salone once again offered a veritable cornucopia of installations, trends and inspirations.

Striking was the diverse green in the form of plants and trees, which is used as a design element in even more stalls than last year. Sustainability is and will remain an elementary issue, in times of Fridays for Future more than ever.

The furniture is still dominated by smaller pieces, filigree shapes that can be combined in a playful and versatile way. Milan has shown once again this year that the furniture world is colorful.

Color is currently ubiquitous - and the fun factor is also increasingly expressed.
