Fashion and design, art and culinary delights meet in the new Nendo-designed Kashiyama Daikanyama shopping mall in Tokyo. At this multifunctional location, whose design evokes the senses of its visitors, the sitting areas on the terraces - designed by Alias - are doing very well.

The building is a staggered box system and each roof is an outdoor living room. Numerous glass facades characterize the stacked volumes in an impressive, irregular composition and allow a lot of light to fall into the interior. The interiors recreate the exterior shapes and reveal an extraordinary mastery in the use of different materials. Marble, wood, stone and glass create sophisticated textures and color nuances.

The sofas of the collection "Dehors", designed by Michele De Lucchi for Alias, offer relaxation. The seating is inspired by nature with its irregular, asymmetrical shapes and offers a new interpretation of the concept of visible structure. The formal solidity and stylistic spontaneity merge into a contemporary nest that welcomes with a warm embrace of soft pillows.

For the outdoor areas of the Kashiyama Daikanyama Mall, the Dehors sofas in the treated steel structure version have been selected for outdoor use and with matte brown powder coating. The pillows are weather resistant and offer an accurate selection of upholstery and upholstery materials.
